I'm not the world's hugest Celine Dion fan, but when Jennifer invited Kelly, Brandy, and me to help her use some comp tickets at Energy Solutions Arena in late February, we were happy to comply. My reason for going? I've heard a lot of great things about Celine's shows, and I totally appreciate great live music. And WOWSERS! It was unbelievable - our 24th row seats were phenomenal and basking in the absolutely purity of one so gifted was nothing short of spectacular. I was NOT disappointed. My favorite song was "All By Myself" for the a capella part of the song - just splendid.
Thanks to Jennifer and Kelly for letting me use their pictures.
And finally I have something to rival that AMAZING Def Leppard concert *rock horns* in Vegas in the early 90's. But, the line for beer at the Celine concert was non-existent. So maybe Celine wins. ;)
Other totally cool concerts I've attended (not even close to the list that most people have):
-
John Mellencamp (twice)
-
Journey (sadly after the Steve Perry days)
-
Kansas and Starship (in Laughlin, NV)
-
Pat Benatar (My Rock Idol!)
-
The Pointer Sisters (7th row)
-
Heart (Amazing!!!)
-
.38 Special (Three Rivers Festival - woot!)
-
Paul McCartney (Pretty iconic, eh?)
-
Jackal, Slaughter, and Damn Yankees (Can you say chainsaw solo?)
-
Josh Groban (He is outstanding! And so cute!)
-
Tony Bennett (At the Las Vegas Hilton)
What was your best concert ever?

Would you believe, I have NEVER been to a concert?!
It's because I spend all of my disposable income on pretty paper.

Oh WOW, you are so blessed to have gone. Celine is my #1 fave secular artist!!
I've been to tons of concerts.. I'm not a huge Reba fan but her concert in Noblesville in 1995 was awesome and probably one of the best I've been to. She knows how to put on a great show.
But THE best though was Steven Curtis Chapman/Casting Crowns in Indy in 2005.

My favorite concert was the Go Go's and The Police at Cobo Hall in the mid-eighties. Love to see that again!

I've been to many concerts, including several you mentioned above, though Celine was/is the BEST! I saw her last year in the D and her show in Vegas........once in a lifetime. God gave that woman a wonderful gift!

I was blessed to see Celine in Dec. 11th row baby! It was one of in the top ten for my bucket list. Just so surreal for me. She's my fav. of all time and so worth the wait. It was also pretty great that it was also my the day of my 10 yr wedding aniversary esp. since Warren and I saw Titanic on our first date.

Well, hello, I think that is pretty dang cool. She is fabulous, and the 24th row, very cool.
Glad you had such a great time!

Hmmm, maybe I should rethink the whole Celine thing now. You and I are the same when it comes to our taste in music. Bon Jovi was a fabu concert. Reba's show was so incredibly entertaining too even though I was up in the nose bleed section. There have been so many good ones, but these two stick out in my mind the most.

I'm totally jealous! What a cool concert to go to. Fun! Cool pics too. Your list is much longer than mine of course even if you only had one concert on your list it would be longer than mine, LOL. Perhaps someday...
