Once upon a time someone asked me what I liked to read. Without a doubt - grisly murder mysteries - not romance, not history, not biography. I can’t put my finger on why or how it happened, but I can’t wait to dig in and discover whodunit! Maybe it was early readings of Edgar Allan Poe’s gruesome short stories or The Michigan Murders by Edward Keyes – a true crime novel set in Ann Arbor, MI, just steps away from my college campus that fueled my obsession with the macabre. My simple life seems pretty nice in comparison to the plots that unravel before my eyes, but somehow I can’t get enough of novels that “thrill me, fill me with fantastic terrors never felt before!”
